We are looking for someone to format two books for us. Both books are completed regarding editing and illustrations. They are both children's books. One book has been published on Create Space. For that book, we would like it to be formatted for Lightning Source for print. We would also like that book to be formatted for Kindle, Nook, Smashwor...ds, etc.

A while ago you made the PDF file of the paper book "Topvrouwen" (Dutch). After that we have made the translation into English and you made the eBook "Amazing Women" (same book in English). Now the author would like to have the English book also in print. In the same size and same layout as the Dutch version.

Can you make the PDF (i...n InDesign) of the paper book in English? So the text from the English ePub in the same layout as the Dutch version of the paper book (InDesign file).

We need it soon... Because the author is going to speak at a conference in the US and now she has decided that she want the English book in print as well. How soon can you deliver the InDesign file in English?

I am looking for a vendor to convert this shorter book to mobi and epub formats. It needs to have live linking to the other two books in the front and the back. The table of contents needs to work well. There are some pictures in it but not a lot of them.

I would like an approximately 100-page eBook formatted. I would prefer we keep the Arial font style and the format of a couple of the pictures, but other than that, I'm open to any changes. There are a couple photos/charts but this should not be a complicated job.

I will need a clickable Table of Contents created. I would like the book to... be formatted for Amazon KDP (Word .doc or .docx is considered the best format now according to their site), Smashwords, and a PDF version. The PDF version can have a nicer layout, but for Amazon it should be fairly simple since they have specific Kindle parameters (but I'm sure you know that already!).

I will need the job to be completed within 1-2 days from delivery. I will fund the escrow account when the job is accepted and you will receive full payment upon completion and satisfaction!

All the media contents are already inside the file and I think you shouldn't have any problem to retrieve them.
I haven't had the time to properly review the ebook but "I think" there i...s the same issue with the legends captions for the pictures.
For sure we'll have to talk again about the work to do, I need your feedback in order to know what is needed.

I have already completed the editing and proofreading of my book manuscript. Most of the layout is already completed, for example paragraphs, indentation, the size of the pages (5.5"x8.5"), and each chapter starting a few lines down on the page.

However, a TOC has to be made, and since I have not used styles on the chapter headings, this will tak...e some time. The book has 300 pages (70,000 words) and 40 chapters.

At the moment, each chapter is set to begin at an odd number page, but I have decided that I want to change that because I have so many chapters and I want to avoid blank pages.

In a couple of instances, there is an "orphan" word or two appearing on the final page of a chapter all alone--for example, on p. 75 and p. 257. This should be avoided, if at all possible.

Some places I have written A.M. or P.M. This should be typeset with lowercase letters.

To summarize what I want:
1. Fix the layout of the Word file, make a table of contents and use styles consistently, and send me this file.
2. Make a PDF file that's ready for upload on Createspace.
3. Make an e-book file that can be uploaded both to KDP and other e-book platforms (I think epub should work well for that).

In case you're curious, the book is a story about learning and motivation, where a teenage student learns how to reach his learning potential and succeed in life.

Quality and professionalism is very important for me, so you must have a lot of experience and a good reputation on Elance.

The suggested price range is just an estimate, as I don't have the experience needed to know the appropriate price.

I am looking for someone who can help make sure that we have converted our files properly for Kindle.My editor did most of the formatting, but there are some pictures that are still not quite centered correctly. This leads me to think that there may in fact be a few other loose ends that he did not format correctly, so this is most likely a very sh...ort project, requiring only a little bit of modification. My understanding is that it is relatively easy to get a file converted into a variety of different and popular Ebook formats, so would like to discuss the cost to have different versions of the file on hand. Shortly after the completion of this project, we will be looking to convert the files over to a format that is for print on demand. We were looking at Lightning Source, but required is the latest version of Adobe, which at present, we do not have. We were also looking at Book Baby as an option - that would be part two of this process. Please let me know if this is something that you can help with. I intend to have the final draft available within the next two weeks if not sooner.

I'd be happy to send you a rough draft copy so you can get a better idea of the formatting involved for Kindle so you can price out that portion of the project.

AZ = Amazon
BN = Barnes & Noble
IB = iBooks
K = Kobo

Th...e new book that needs to be added is BEYOND BIGGER LEANER STRONGER. It should be come after BIGGER LEANER STRONGER.

The cover is attached and you can find the full title and description as well as the proper book links in the "BLS" files I've also attached. (These are files I already did and uploaded.)

So, what you want to do is use the BLS files to properly link to the new book in each of the other books.

To be clear, an "AZ" file should only contain links to the new book on Amazon US and UK. A "BN" file should only contain a link to it on B&N. An "IB" file should only link to it on iBooks.

You can find all the links you need in the "BLS" files.
