We finally have the other book ready to create a layout for Lightning Source. Pretty much the same sort of thing you did for the Pocket Edition but on a larger scale. This is our main book so i am glad we worked on the pocket book first so you have an idea of what we want.

I'll attached the PDF so you can see how many pages and images t...here are. The purple writing is where you would put the text in the grey background boxes and the quotes that are in a bubble are where you would put yellow quote boxes.

Let me know what you would quote, and don't forget to put an extra cost of the cover template you redid for us on the Pocket Edition.

Hi AtriTex,

Can you please take a look at the attached file for a new book that has two columns? There is a wide margin on the outside of each page, into which they put pull quotes and images. Please advise if you think it you can convert to reflowable format without issues given the layout.

I would like to submit two book files to CreateSpace.com in order to get them printed. I would also like to have them converted to the .mobi format the .epub format to be published as eBooks on Amazon.com and BN.com.

The books are:

Meditation: 10 Practices Made Easy

They are presently in Microsoft Word, no images.
The first book is in English and has 20654 words.
The second book is in Spanish and has 23834 words.

I would like for both (5 x 8 inch) books to be ready for upload to CreateSpace.com.

Hi!

I would like to get some changes made to my cookbooks.

I'd like to add images and display them differently than before. Instead of small squares that fit on the page, I'd like them to be rectangular and take up the whole page (taller than they are wide).

I will provide the original, massive images from the shoot. They will need to be edited,... and this will require a little bit of an eye as you will be slicing a narrower portion of each. Please make sure the food is the primary focus when you edit (don't have half of a plate with the focus on the setting or accessories).

That's from another cookbook (I added the ugly text, haha).

Furthermore I'd like the format of recipes to go like this:

PAGE 1 OF RECIPE: TITLE
PAGE 2 OF RECIPE: FULL-PAGE PICTURE
PAGE 3 OF RECIPE: RECIPE ITSELF

In some cases, recipes have a prep and final shot. Let's have the prep image come first, on its own page, followed by the final shot on its own page. And then finally the recipe.

As you'll see in the zip files with the images, you'll know which goes with which recipe by just comparing file names to the recipes in the book. Please use them all.

I've attached an ePub for each of the cookbooks, and here are the image files:

Can you give me a proposal for this eBook? I will send you the InDesign file and PDF of the paperbased book. It is text only and contains 256 pages.

There are several kind of texts in this eBook:
- Text in frames: please place a green background behind this text
- Streamers: text with a green square in front of it. How can you solve... this in ePub?
- Interviews: this text is mainly in Italic. Can you include the image that is in front of each interview title?
- Body text

Can you make an example file of a few pages first?
In the attachment you also find the cover the paper book.

I have an InDesign file that I need to have formatted for Kindle and ePub (standard/flowable) for publication to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iTunes. A straight export/conversion won't work because the pieces will be out of order. I need a professional who will make sure everything is in the right order and looks good.

The document is about 19,000... words (prose with headings; no tables or footnotes, nothing fancy). I will send you the cover file, the InDesign file, and a sample of what I want the formatting to look like. I need you to get everything in the right order and formatted correctly, make sure it passes B&N and iTunes specs (no encrypted fonts, no images > 2 million pixels, ePub passes validation check, etc.), check it thoroughly to make sure everything is right, send me the final ePub and Kindle files, and correct them if needed. (If you make them match the samples I send, this shouldn't be necessary.)

Normally, I would do this myself, but I am totally swamped and out of time. I need someone who will do a great job and not waste my time. If you're quick and awesome, I will have more work for you.

In your proposal, please tell me your qualifications and post some featured portfolio samples. If you want to be considered, you'll also need to specify your price and turnaround time.

Just to let you know, I will be awarding this project to someone as soon as I have enough information to make a good decision. I need this work done as soon as possible.
