We have an optimized PDF with all kinds of hyperlinks for the table of contents. we need this converted into a well formatted epub. Automatic conversions are resulting in lots of issues.

¿ This book has many footnotes ¿ I don't know what is standard for ebooks, or if you've already discussed this with Anne, but footnotes in the ebook can be endnotes (all at the end of the chapter) as long as the footnote reference in the text links to the endnote at the end of the chapter, and the footnote number links back to the reference in the text (so it's easy to go back and forth between the two)
¿ The Appendix InDesign file is just the Appendix table of contents (list of all appendices). In Appendix folder are PDFs of the appendices ¿ please include these as images after the Appendix table of contents so the appendices are all in the digital book
¿Keep the both the summary and expanded tables of contents for main TOC
¿ Remove tables of contents from individual chapters, to match EE
¿ The metadata table of contents should include all sections and subsections (everything included in extended TOC)


We want the final product to be:
- clean, correcting any style inconsistencies or other errors that result from the conversion process
- including functional, linked tables of contents and index
- combined into one file (both volumes of MISS should be in a single .epub and .mobi file - I have already removed references to volumes from the table of contents)

Estimated payment is $742 and calculated at .35 per page. If the page count goes up more, we can adjust the price.

We have a PDF print ready book that we would like re-designing and re-configuring to kindle and apple newsstand format.

I have a manuscript I'd like to have correctly formatted for Createspace so I can have it printed. It shouldn't be a big job but it's not something I'm very good at. Please only apply if you are very familiar with createspace and the formatting options and requirements.

Please design a print book, 6 x 9", in InDesign from the attached files. I'm sending you just the front matter and files for first chapter to start, to check design. About 60 pages in Word. I will adjust the price after getting initial files to reflect the full length of the job (about 250 pages)

-Chapter files include screenshots as the images - ...no other photos or illustrations are necessary
-Design should be style sheets and typestting, with some sort of cohesive element across the footer or header of pages with page numbers, and chapter titles
-Book will be 4-color, so do use color in the footers or headers, and also feel free to use color in varying styles, particularly section titles

If possible, I'd like to see a sample of this initial text by end of the week - I will need the whole book done by end of the month.

Require a 32-page children's illustrated picture book converted to commonly used ebook formats including ePUB, Kindle/MOBI. Prefer to be set up as double spreads (as per attached version), however can supply file with individual pages if recommended. Please reply with following:

You have two formatting options when publishing an image book or comic book: Fixed layout or Non-fixed layout. Now since you want the illustrations to be double spread, we recommend you to go for fixed layout formatting.

To create a Fixed layout book, please review sections four and five in our Kindle Publishing Guidelines below:

When you create a Fixed layout book, our system identifies it as such and determines the content is best viewed on a color device that supports Kindle Format 8 (KF8). At this time, the only devices that support KF8 format are Kindle Fire, Kindle for iPad and Kindle for Android.

Looking to convert my 212 page paperback into an ebook! Have the file ready to go, just needs conversion. There is one graphic table and several "scroll" and "key" designs. The background of the entire book also has a old texture design to give the overall product a classy feel. Hope this is enough information, ask if you need more.

I have a small publishing company and I'm producing books and ebooks. Right now I've got a non-fiction narrative manuscript (400 pps) in which the text has been formatted using styles in InDesign, but which does not yet contain graphics. I'd like to have a specialist handle the graphics. My last formatter did an excellent job--very little degradati...on on any type of screen and yet covering the max screen real estate. But it seems she's gotten out of the business.

I'd like to be able to send an InDesign-formatted book to someone, and have that person size, sample, sharpen, style, and anchor a series of line drawings and photos, and if necessary, modify the html and css to insure max real estate. There are roughly 26 of these illustrations. The line drawings, of which there are only four, are the big challenge, of course. I'd really like to work with a person who has a good test bed. I can side load a Kindle, a Kindle for Mac, an iPhone, etc, but I don't have a Paperwhite or a Fire or an Android, etc, etc, etc. So I'd like to work with someone who can fill some of the gaps.

I will be publishing at least two other titles this year, and I will probably need help with them as well. If you're interested, please just let me know.

I would like to get eBook professionally edited for publishing on Amazon Kindle.

This should only be a small/simple job as the text has already been edited with a table of comments and paragraphs.

Everything seems to convert well, except a few tables and some pictures. I am seeking an eLancer who can do the following:
¿ Fix tables to ...show correctly (4 of these)
¿ Fix weather charts to show correctly (4 of these)
¿ Make all text look consistent
¿ Make the 'Start of Chapter' pictures full screen (about 5 jpegs)
¿ Test and check the conversion
¿ Be willing to do a few revisions if needed

I also would like both the updated word doc and mobi files. I would like to be able to load the word doc into Amazon's converter myself (also will allow me to make future changes on my own).

As most of the work in editing the text is done and its mainly just a few tables and pictures, my budget for this job is between $10 and $20.

I have a published book that needs to be edited (content only) in the InDesign file format based on a list of edits provided by me and then I will need the files in different formats for uploading to Kindle and epub.

What I have:

- The book files in InDesign format.
- The list of content edits that need to be done in text format.

What I need:
