I am publishing a ebook about Cambodia. The manuscript is about 330 pages and written in Norwegian. It includes a number of photographs. Current format is Microsoft Word for Mac 2011.
In the end I will need the manuscript in the epub format. The task now, however, is to review the Word document and update all formatting for it to be well suited f...or exporting to epub later. I have done a couple of test-run already using Calibre software, and it basically looks good. But I would like an expert to review and update all formatting in the document so that it is consistent and correct.
The job needs to be done very quickly - and I will choose freelancer already today.

I have a self published book with approx. 200 pages in paperback format. Paperback is the normal 5 X 9 in (approx) book with color front page and back page. Front page is one graphic image. Not sure what to do with back page. It only provides promo material (text and testimonials) for the book itself.
I need to have the book converted from PD...F so that it it can be used on both Kindle and ePub devices. I realize that this will be TWO conversions. The book contains less than 10 images/charts. Most are full page with no need to wrap around etc.
The conversion needs to be 99% perfect. Freelancer should have lots of experience in these areas because I am aware that these jobs can be tricky. I am not looking for novices in this area. Freelancer needs to be fluent in English.
Final conversion must work perfectly on intended devices. I am the copyright holder of this book.

This project is a children's e-book with a few sentences up to one-two paragraphs of text per page and one image per page. Intended layout is very simple - with text below a picture. This project will need to have fixed layout.
Existing PDF file has a total of 29 pages (including a cover), functional TOC, dedication, title and a copyright... page. There is a total of 24 images + cover image. Images are available as 300 dpi JPGs and I will provide a PDF file showing intended layout/corresponding pictures and text.
I would like to stay close to the PDF layout, for publishing on Kindle and for portrait viewing, with ability to zoom into text but nothing else special. There are vertical and some horizontal images (I would like to have images sized as big as possible for e-viewing on different devices).
There is only 1 border added to 1 image during PDF file creation (light blue, 0.01 pt in width) And there are also two frames added to the last two BIO pages to portraits. No other borders are needed.

For one my client.
I have a 40 page word document, quite well formatted, in PDF also. But conversion into pdf make loss image quality and some formatting properties.
In word also formatting need to be improve, because "justify" align give some weird result at some places.
And also it don't look "professional" as he need to be. I guess I'm not pro...fessional in Ebook formatting, so I need someone to prepare a fresh ebook based on that.

I have a 40 page word document, quite well formatted, in PDF also. But conversion into pdf make loss image quality and some formatting properties.
In word also formatting need to be improve, because "justify" align give some weird result at some places.
And also it don't look "professional" as he need to be. I guess I'm not pro...fessional in Ebook formatting, so I need someone to prepare a fresh ebook based on that.
If the Freelancer work well and depend cost/utility, I can suggest to my client on top of pdf format, maybe some epub/html etcc.

I have a small ebook to create. There are about 10 chapters with 1 photo for each chapter. I need a table of contents that links to each chapter and a cover. Each chapter is a separate word document. Will need in epub and mobi formats, possibly a few others that you recommend. Need a turn around time and a rough estimate. Should have project by nex...t week or a little later.
