This is the project we discussed last week about a CreateSpace manuscript that is 119 pages. It looks like it is closer to 100 pages.

Please be sure to make sure that all the headings used, normal text and other formatting is cleaned up. It looks like to me that he has used different formatting for different areas of the manuscript that... make it when you update the specific formatting option it does not update everything it should because everything is not consistent.

Here are other details:

- Format the current manuscript (8.5 x 11) into a 6x9 paperback book per the guidelines at CreateSpace.com.
- The format should be structured correctly using proper headings, etc.
- A Table of Contents page will need to be created. This needs to be done correctly so that if a Chapter/Section title changes the TOC will update accordingly.

Other format requirements included:
- proper gutters
- page numbers and title header
- page numbers should NOT show up on blank pages. Ex., title page, TOC page, Copyright page, etc.
- Chapters should start on odd pages only

Basically follow the CreateSpace guidelines and normal book publishing practices.

Your final submission to me will be in Word or Pages format. I do NOT need it in PDF.

Please provide a sample manuscript that you've completed for CreateSpace.

Cooking Ebook

1. 20-25 recipes

2. Make ebook compatible on all devices (Mac, PC, Droid, Iphone, Ipads, Tablets, Smartphone, Kindle?)

3. Interactive table of contents (links that would lead them to various pages in the book or website)

9. It would be great if you a work USA business hours (not required)

10. Would like to have it completed with in 7 days. Starting on the 15th of September possibly earlier. My budget is $30 or as close to as possible. Quotes are welcomed.

I have a manuscript that i need to layout into the book format to publish on createspace.

I already have the file from the previous book with the style and format that it needs to be in. You would need to use the same InDesign setting to make it into another book. Its about 80 pages of word doc file including some pictures.

I will provide both ma...nuscript and the indesign file from the previous book to create the same style etc.

I have about 27 items of prose I want formatted into eBook format and also for general publishing. The work is all in Word. Some layout design needed in order to make it look good. One item of prose per page with a content section needed to be built. Cover art ability is preferred but NOT essential for this task.

I have about 80 pages of text that needs to be input into InDesign with each chapter (about page or two) as a separate story. Styling needs to be applied to the chapter heads and sub-heads, all other formatting consistently preserved (ital, bold, lists). Images are to be ignored. Set to Times 14pt, on an Letter (or A4) page.

I need my Word Doc converted to a .mobi or .epub file.
The file needs to be compatible for submission to Kindle.

I hope that this is the right category for this. This is my first posting on Upwork and they don't have the same listings as Elance did.

I have a completed book and am wanting the inside pages to be graphically laid out. I have done several books and will supply you with the basic design that I like. There is nothing fancy about this. There wi...ll be a couple of illustrations and some artwork throughout the book. No actual pictures except maybe mine at the back if I need a section "About the Author."

The book will be 6 x 9. Right now I have about 85 1.5 spaced Word pages, so the book will probably be around 130 pages (my guess).

I want this done in AI and will need a PDF that will follow the instructions from my printer source as well as the source files. If you have the ability to do Kindle format that is a bonus.

105,000 words. To mockup the first 30 pages using attached Screen Shot 2015-06-01 as a sample.

Please use a small font size and tight kerning and leading, as this is a very long book.

Also, on the Screen Shot please notice the flower over the words Cha...pter One. We need something similar--something that might be a throw-back to the 1861-65 American Civil War. Would you be able to offer a suggestion? If not, we will continue to look for appropriate artwork.

Once author and editor approve the mockup, then you will flow the full book.

reflowable formats

I've been trying to format my ebook for HOURS - page breaks are there, TOC and all, but having issues with indents - need my document to be on point so that I can upload to Amazon Kindle Direct, Lulu as an ebook - final file must be word document.

NEED ASAP! Like, right away! :)
