We required an eBook design/formatting expert to take our base Google drive documents (ie text and images) and turn these documents into fully-formatted EPUB and MOBI documents using our design instruction manual. The design instruction manual contains all the information required to design, format and paginate all of our content into the r...ight look & feel to match our product/company branding.
At the moment, we have in the region of 100,000 words (and pictures) to be converted from Google drive docs into fully-formatted EPUB and MOBI documents. However, we have another series of eBooks coming out shortly which could easily double the workload for this project.
As such, we propose that you submit a quote for a fixed price per 50,000 words of fully-formatted EPUB and MOBI content. This way we can roll the contract forward in 50,000 words milestones as our new content becomes available.
We also propose a 5,000 word "trial run" milestone document to provide focused feedback enabling any changes to the base rules/instructions to be incorporated as early in the process as possible. This "trial run" milestone will be paid pro-rata (ie 10% of the agreed 50k milestone fee)
If you are interested in this contract, please submit your initial fee proposal. Short-listed candidates will be asked to sign an NDA. At this stage you will be able to see the "trial run" document and design instruction manual to submit final fee/timing proposal. We will then select the winning candidate.

- Buttons on the left (the 3 buttons at the bottom) you will find on every page.
The heart button: when you click on this button this page should be filed in a sort of file. When you click on the file you see what pages you have marked as "interesting". For an example of this principle you can look at this iBook: "Awsome animals - Guiness world records 2014".
The envelop button; this button should open the mail application an the link to this page should be included in the e-mail, or otherwise the link to the entire iBook

Northeastern LLC has approximately 200 volumes (of approximately 200 pages each) of books scanned with a overhead book scanner. These volumes are compilations of articles, approximately ten per volume. We are looking for a firm to do a quick conversion of these files into the following:
1) Full text searchable PDFs of each article within these vol...umes. The table of contents in each volume should link to the articles within.
2) Searchable, full text PDFs of each individual article as separate files AND additional conversion of each article into epub, mobi formats.
To be clear, for each volume, there should be one file that is a searchable, PDF for the entire volume and then separate epub, mobi, and PDF versions of each article as separate files within.
We would like to see this ASAP, preferably within 1-2 weeks. Preference will be given to the firm that can complete fastest.

It is quite a full color book with a lot of images and colors.

The title of every chapter should be in a different color. We have choosen these colors:

Please also make the titles of the paragraphs in the same color as the chapter color, as well as the title of the chapter in the left corner and the text frames for the quotes.
Please use interlining 14 and under the paragraph titles 18.
The color of the pagenumber should be the same as the color of that part (deel).
Please start every part (Deel) as the first part on page 15.
Images should be in a sqaure with round corners (5pt) and outline on the right or as width as the textframe.
Quotes should be in a textframe with round corners (5pt) in the color of that chapter.
Please start every new chapter on the right page. When there is a blank page on the left next to a new chapter please include an image from the file "Foto's eventueel extra".

Perhaps not every image is good of resolution but we will fix that later.
Is it possible to send me the file you are working on on Saturday at the end of the day? Than I will look at it on Sunday and give you feedback. After that you will be able to continue on Monday again. Next week I will not be in the office for a few days so I won't be able to look at it. The book should be finished on Saturday the 3rd of January. But it would be great if you can send me a file with a lot of chapters this Saturday.

My client from the eBook "Histamine beperkt basisboek" would like to make a paper book (with different subject/title). We already have the InDesign file but to print it as a book we would like to have it in black and white.
Can you give me a price to make the entire book into black and white in the InDesign file?
Also, please give m...e price when we remain the pages with the images in color, these are 44 pages.
And what will it cost when you do both: make the entire book into black and white and make the book in black and white with 44 pages remain in color (only the images).
How long will it take you to deliver the files?

- my client needs to make a lot of textual changes first. Is it easier for you if she does this in InDesign or in the HTML files you sent me? My client can work with both. What is easier for you?
- When you have recieved the files with the correct texts in InDesign or HTML, how long does it take you to make the eBook in fixed format?
Good for you to know: when my client is satisfied about the paper book and the eBook in fixed format she will give the job for about 6 books (or even more).
