Hello - I have a 60 page word document that I'd like to be formatted into a e-book document so it could be read one page at a time on an average size computer screen and/or printed. Once formatted, I'd like to still be able to edit the content myself. This ebook will be free and given away on my website.

Project:
- Convert existing 62 page PDF ebook into Kindle and POD ebook format while maintaining style, fonts, and images.

Deliverables:
1. Kindle file that is ready to be uploaded to Amazon KDP
2. POD (Print on Demand) file that is ready to be uploaded to Amazon CreateSpace.

Requirements:
- MUST have recent and repeated experience reformatt...ing ebooks into these file types.
- MUST deliver files that successfully upload into their respective Amazon services with NO errors.
- MUST have positive references specific to converting ebooks into Kindle and POD formats.

Chapter numbers spelled out, instead of numerical

I have an e-book in a word format that I would like formatted for Kindle and sent to me as a mobi file.
Specifically i require the following:
1. Each chapter to start on a new page;
2. The links on the contents page to take the reader to the appropriate chapter;

I would like a cover for my book "How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free" reconstructed to look exactly like the original PDF that I have. There are two changes, however. The price on top of the back cover will be changed from $16.95 to $17.97. Also, the barcode at the bottom will be replaced with a new barcode to reflect the price change to $17.97. I... will provide the new barcode.

The cover is for a print size of 6.75 X 9.75 inches (6 3/4 X 9 3/4).

I have a Quark Express file of the complete book cover when it was partially done by another graphic designer but for some reason I do not have the final Quark Express file from which the PDF was generated.

The PDF of the final cover previously used is attached along with the partially completed Quark Express File that the graffic designer had sent to me.

I can provide all the fonts and all the images required to reconstruct the cover and make the two changes related to the price change.

( I have amended the project because I did work out how to find my photos - so now my project is smaller)

I wrote the book in Iauthor landscape/portrait classical and realise this is a mistake as it loses visuals and spacing. I have corrected this in landscape but think it needs to be transferred in Portrait classical. The style that I like is the... Phaidon books by Paul Arden (God in a Taxi ride etc) and George Lois (dam good advice)

I want someone to:
1. Prepare a professional formatted book with aesthetic appeal to the eye so I can publish in ibooks, kindle and eventually a hard copy.

Specifically:
1. Consistency of chapter headings, placement and size.
2. Justify all text.
3. Consistency of section headings.
4. Section visuals consistent (larger if resolution good enough, centred and tidied up)
5. Decrease negative space in book.
6. Consistency of all visual i.e. I would like the book to be visually appealing.

I think it is a short job for someone who knows what they are doing as it onlys requires tweaking.

There is art work involved and I have been preparing a folder of jpgs that will have to be forwarded in dropbox if needed.
