I have received orders for the book,'I used to be dead', so now I have to rush to fill them with the hard copy of the book.
You can see it promoted at [obscured] /shop
I have attached the novel in Word format with some notes for you at the front.
You will need to prepare a numbered contents or chapters page.
I hav...e attached a graphic of a Great White Heron which needs to go at the top of chapters
I have attached the scan of the book I want to model MINE on. (Taj and the Great Camel Trek).
I have specified fonts and the model of the title.
You do not have to worry about the cover. It will be designed when we know the thickness of the book.
I want to stay under 200 pages if I can as the post has been calculated on a certain thickness. PLease let me know how we will go with the number of pages.
Please let me know if you can rush this (with care of course) and
Please tell me once you have seen the job whether your price needs to change.

We have a full color book that is 144 pages laid out in In Design. We need to make a few minor changes (one typo or two) and re-organize a page then the files need to be set up for print, including managing the color output as the book is full color interior and exterior.

1) Please output as PDF X-1a
2) Bleed is 1/8" (3 mm)
3) Under Marks and Bleeds, you can choose "All printers Marks" but
please re-set the "offset" from 0.0833" (2 mm) to 0.1875" (approx 4.76 mm). If you don’t do that, the color bars will end up in the bleed area.
4) Please output as single pages. Not as spreads!
5) All artwork needs to be converted to CMYK before making the PDF's.
The conversion should be "US Web Coated (SWOP) v. 2", which is one of the built-in conversion settings in Photoshop.

- create a nice template in InDesign that fits with attached file as well as colors and themes on [obscured]
- create a nice front pa...ge design
- use all content from attached word file in Indesign (including images, tables, text, links, etc.) All of this must look nice and consistent with the template
- remember that the design in Word is just a draft design. I expect a nicer design in the finished InDesign file
