I'd like to self-publish an e-copy of a Young Adult novel (60,780 computer word count). The job: to make the Word document ready to upload on the Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble, Smashwords, and Create Space websites.

I have the Word Document and the CoverArt is almost final.

I currently have an author who has a Kindle ebook available on Amazon. I would like to receive a price and the amount of time it would take to add the following to the existing Kindle file:

1. About 10,000 words (95KB) to be added into the end-notes of the book. The new material is in the form of a word file.

2. The insertion of the new material... would be a continuous file, broken only in two places where one Jpeg file will be inserted at each location. The main body of the story that is the existing kindle file does not have to be changed. I will be able to instruct you as to exactly where the new material is to be placed.

3. I would also like the cost to add the same thing to the epub files that are for the NOOK reader. I would also be able to send you the original epub file.

4. I would also like to know if the new file that you will produce will be formated to work in color in the new kindle fire?

I can send you the complete existing Kindle file, and the additional material to be added into the original file in a word document. In addition to the text word file, there are two jpeg picture files also to be added that will be noted in the text word file.

1. All of the pages will have to be checked for the proper formatting. Please check each page carefully, to be sure th...ey will flow properly and be lined up correctly in all of the different readers.
2. The Poems are PDF's written in Edwardian Script. Have to be changed to Times Roman. Can be done automatically with some software. If you do not have that software you will have to write them in Times Roman.
A. For the poems that do not have a title: Add Them using the titles below.
B. It may look confusing, but if you will just follow the list and open the CD you will see it is very easy.
3. The items are in order the way that I would like the book to be.
4. Just list the poems in the table of contents with their name in the order that I have listed them below.
5. The logo at the top of the opening page (1.) should be made larger. I have included a tiff of this logo, which you can use.

I am looking for an ebook expert to format my inspirational novel "Look Ma, Life's Easy" for publication on the Kindle platform and for the Epub format.

The text has already been edited for content, grammar, and readability.

I have posted the PDF with Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and part of Chapter 4. The complete manuscript in its original form i...s done as a Microsoft Word document which will be provided to you if get the job (A PDF of the complete book will also be provided). The complete book has approximately 53,000 words and 197 pages excluding the cover, title page, and copyright page.

First, the content must be formatted specifically for the Kindle (using the latest guidelines that Amazon provides for the Kindle Fire), including the following:

1. Place an HTML page with a Table of Contents (TOC) at the beginning of the book, so that users can easily jump to the seven chapters in the book. The entries in the TOC must be HTML links so that users can click to go to a specific location. Also meet Amazon's standards for a logical Table of Contents.
2. Insert the right anchor tags for "TOC" and "start" and "cover" so that anyone using the Kindle can go directly to the Table of Contents, Beginning, and inside Front Cover.
3. Set up a consistent format, font, size, etc., for all paragraphs in the main text.
4. The first paragraph for each Chapter is not indented.
5. Place the approximately 100 proverbs (each have an average of 4 sentences) that appear in a larger font througout the manuscript into the Kindle in a font (style) that is noticeably different from the main text. The opening capital letter in each sentence in the proverbs must be put into a size much larger than the rest of the letters in the sentence (as appears in the manuscript). These proverbs should also be placed in blue.
6. Place the 20 images (with no text wrapping) as they appear in the manuscript (except for one image of a butterfly which may require text wrapping).
7. Identify the images that may not meet the quality requirements for the Kindle and ask me to submit new ones.

I will provide the high resolution file for the cover to be used for this book so that it can be adjusted for the main cover and the inside cover image.

The final deliverable file will be the book in uploadable Kindle format and which I can tweek myself using html code if necessary).

I will also require a separate file for Epub formats.

If possible, please also give me a price for creating and uploading a file for iBooks using iBooks Author to the similar guidelines as for the Kindle Fire above.

This is a recipe book of 5 skin care recipes with 5 ingredients or less.
I did the work in Word but am having trouble formatting it to PDF smoothly with all the same page breaks and working links.
I have two ebooks needing attention, with a third in the works. My priority is to have it in PDF asap, with a longer-range goal of selling it in more f...ormats. I have one ebook ready to be formatted, a second which will be ready this week, and a third in the works.

Sorry, I don't think I was clear. I don't want a book. I don't want a kindle document.

I would just like my word document converted into a pdf file.
T...he table of contents should link to the different chapters.

I need 14 books formatted into PDF files for publishing. Seven are in English (The Eighth Scroll, The Returned, MisGod'ed, God'ed, The First and Final Commandment, The Zion Deception and Bearing True Witness). The rest are translations of MisGod'ed, God'ed and Bearing True Witness -- three in French, three in Spanish, and one in Polish.

After for...matting, I will then need all of the foreign languages above (7 in all) to mobi and epub formats for e-book publishing.

The books need to be formatted in PDF for page size of 5.25" x 8" with inside margin of 0.75" and outside margin of 0.5". File size for each book cannot exceed 400 MB. As a rough guide, formatting should be done in such a way as to arrive at page count around 325 pages for MisGod'ed in English.

I need the PDF formatting for two books (MisGod'ed and God'ed in English) ASAP, but the others can be done at a more leisurely pace. Please see attachments for the English and Spanish books. I will send the French and Polish in a separate mailing, as I am only allowed ten attachments here.

Each .epub will need to be different as the "Other Books" and "Review" links change for each. Otherwise the book is exactly the same.

I've attached one .docx for ea...ch platform. "BN" is Barnes and Noble, "IB" is iBookstore, "G" is Google, "K" is Kobo, and "SW" is Smashwords.

Could you please prepare a separate .epub for each using the appropriate Other Books and Review pages, and any other specifications that each vendor requires?

Regarding Kobo, I've attached a checklist they gave me, and you'll need to create the ONIX metadata file.
