Milestone 1:
* Conversion of a Word document into an InDesign file according to provided InDesign master pages and style file. (Word file and InDesign files are attached)
* Presentation of final manuscript in two different fonts (one will be selected from two choices)
* Revisions necessary to fix any cont...ent, format errors or revise font selections
* Preparation of files for approved submission of files to Lightning Source

Milestone 2:
* Creation of production ready ebook from InDesign file in major ebook formats .
These formats are: a. ePub file optimized for the iPad and other iOS devices,
b. a MobiPocket file optimized for the Kindle and all the Kindle apps,

I want to create volume 2 of an existing book. I have an Indesign file with the original content, which contains 32 open-face, two-page articles, so the layout can be duplicated. Volume 2 will have approximately the same number of articles as the existing book.

I will provide a list of articles and their order, and either individual Word document...s or links to online html versions, whichever you prefer. In addition, each of the 32 articles will need a boxed quote (a single cell table) that will be provided separately from the article files themselves. A few of the articles will include a graphic.

The extra pages at the beginning and end of the book will be similar to the existing but will require some modification.

I would like this book delivered in 3 formats: Lightning Source print on demand, Kindle, and Nook. I will provide a psd cover file for inclusion in the electronic formats as well.

For the pdf file I need the following:

Left and right margins of pages must be the same.

I have an eBook that I need converted to both ePub and .mobi formats because I'd like to sell the eBook on the Amazon and Smashwords sites.

The eBook is 79 pages long, and contains both text and images, and well as a clickable TOC.

I'd be open to other graphic design suggestions and recommendations for making the book more visually appea...ling as part of this project as well. I potentially have lots more work between my ebooks and website in the future too so would love to partner with an experienced graphic/web designer who is also well versed in programming.

I need someone to affordably convert Microsoft Word .docx file into file appropriate for Kindle (e.g., ePub), according to the Kindle Direct Publishing Guide. The scope of this project includes hyperlinks, including the table of contents, properly inserting and formatting text and images and page breaks. The docx file is formatted as a 24-page book... with 6,085 words. There are 13 tables (each table is on a separate page) and two images, not including the book cover.

Attached is a graphic novel that needs to be converted to a .mobi that is optimized for the Kindle Fire.

There are a couple pages at the end of the novel that would normally span both pages of the printed version. How can this be handled on the Fire?

This task involves copying and pasting content from one document into a new document that meets the Kindle requirements. You will have to add the correct Styles and Formatting to the document that I will provide. For exa...mple you will need know how to do the following tasks:

You will need to Copy text from within a text box and Paste into a new document, stripping the old formatting and using new formatting
You will need to use Styles (Heading 1) to designate chapters in the book
You will need to use block paragraph style for paragraphs

You will need to Group images and Copy and Paste grouped images into a new document

Finally, I have determined that I want to update my book with new content. What is the best way to do that? I have both a PDF version and a Word version that is formatted like the PDF version.

Also seeking assistance to publish an updated version of my book on Amazon since the previous version reflects a publication date for the softcover version of 2005 and I want to replace the softcover version with a new, expanded 2012 Kindle version (in addition to offering the new version in other formats). Incidentally, I am hesitant to sell in PDF format due to piracy concerns. Thank you all.

I am looking for a person who is skilled in the conversion of Word docx and PDF into the various eBook formats. I seek someone who is fluent in English and who can communicate and understand and follow instructions in an accurate manner.

I require conversion into formats: ePub ADE, iPad, Android, Nook, Mobi, Kindle, Kobo, Sony and other major eBoo...k readers. These formats must closely resemble the Word docx and PDF that are provided, rather than being a simple text conversion (which I can easily do myself).

All text and artwork will be provided. The front and back covers will need to be integrated into the digital formats.

All formats will need to be fully tested for errors and bugs.

Table of Contents must be linked to the beginning of each chapter and each section.

Black pages must be taken out if unnecessary.

What I Need: Convert my 21 page Open Office (.odt) document to eBook format. I need typesetting and layout as well as a basic cover. This is a free eBook to be given away.

What I Have: An Open Office eBook template (.odt) 21 pages long with basic formatting and a few basic graphics. I also have the very rough Word document that I attempted to con...vert. I used a free eBook template but decided it would be better to hire a pro to do the work instead. The graphics are not very good and should be replaced with something royalty free. I don't know if you can do that or if you need to create a place holder for me.
