I have an ebook that I would like converted to Kindle format. Its a short book, I think around 70 pages.

The first ebook I have done - Vic Johnson recommends you for this job. I am not sure I have what you would need to do this - it is a Recipe/Cook book that I widh to self-publish on Amazon for use in Kindle. Has about 275 recipes in it. I have completed it in MS Word and will submit this to you.

We need to convert files from indesign format to epub format. We are doing the 1st one (to test the water) at the moment, would be many more to come.

Requirements:

1. need to have table of contents.
2. able to adjust font size

I have a book in pdf format (my own book) and i would like this converted to kindle format so i can sell it on amazons kindle store.

The book is 420 pages long and in 6'x9' size. It consists of mostly text with very few images, i think about five from memory.

We write ebooks and publish a few. We deal in very low budget titles and try to do as much as we can ourselves. We need help with:

Formatting
Proofing
Conversion to Kindle, ePub & PDF - with some consistency between them.

Attached is one example. Please quote for conversion and reformatting so it looks acceptable in these three main formats.... We use KDP, Createspace and Smashwords for distribution.

We are also looking for other help including writing & creating books, adding stock images, covers etc. and possibly also basic marketing. We want a long term relationship after this trial project.

Looking for experienced professional to convert book into e-reader format, compatible with readers like Kindle, iPad, Nook, etc. The e-pub needs to have an interactive Table of Contents. As I understand it, the format/code need's to be different for different e reader platforms and will need to be changed to fit Kindle/Nook etc requirements. I would like my e book t...o be able to be available on Kindle, Nook, IRiver (Google).

for "Skills" required -I accidentally entered DotNet 2.0 - but I'm not certain what skills will be required for this job.

I have a 110-page book that I would like converted correctly into Kindle format. This book is available in pdf. I think I can make it available in Word too, but the pdf is currently the most correct version.

In the physical book, the chapters are divided with a page of hand-written printing (2-3 lines of print between the chapters). If hand prin...ting will not convert to Kindle as an image, they can be rewritten in a script font. I would like page breaks between these entries so they are standalone on the page between the chapters.

I will want the cover to be applied, and I also have one small correction to be made on the back cover (deleting some words in the About the Author blurb), as well as the same correction on the last page of the book. I would like this correction to the About the Author blurb done both to the existing pdf that is for print so I can reupload it to the printer and to the one that will be submitted in the Kindle format. it is very important that nothing else is changed for the version that will be uploaded to the physical printer.

Please let me know the turnaround time for this project. Thank you.

I have several manuscripts that need to be formatted into e-books. They range from 20 pages to 300 pages. All the writing and editing is complete.

To begin with I want a novella, 36 pages 15,000 words formatted and readied to be sold online. I have one novel on Kindle and so this format style would be okay.

If this goes well, I will be able t...o offer more. I don't have a large budget but do appreciate a good job and pay what it is worth. I am a writer and understand the ethics and drawbacks of not getting what you are worth.

* We release around one book per week.

You can help us in many ways. As the number of books are climbing on a regular basis, we need help with managing the process of publishing the books. Here are the 3 high level steps (last-to-first sequence):

1. Create the book. Put all the pages of the book together and make the book ready for publishing.

2. Do quality check of the deliverable from each service provider: 1) artist 2) author 3) voice over artist.

3. Co-ordinate the delivery of components - viz., illustration, text and audio - required for each book such that all the components arrive in time for the prompt publishing of the book.


I will use iTrack and send you the details of the first 3 books.

I would like you to charge us per page. Each book has 20-25 pages.

I am suggesting $0.50 per page. Let me know what you think.

Since the number of pages in each book varies, you could finish a book and create a milestone with the charge for that book. We will then pay each milestone. So we do not have to create multiple Elance projects. We could use this Elance project for all future work.

Who I Am: My name is Kevin Mills, and I'm writing a book called "Baby Codes: 101 Winning Combinations to Help Your Baby Sleep." It'll be designed as a quick reference book for sleepy and desperate parents, organized with one idea per page for fast relief, and published by a small Christian Print-On-Demand publisher called Ink Swift in November.

Wh...o You are: You, my friend, are one who loves to work with the details. You're fast, affordable, and most importantly, you have the unique skills I'm looking for. You're able to take the pre-edited & proofed text from the manuscript and format it so it plays nicely with all the eBook stores out there. Specifically, however, you're able to reformat the text according to Smashwords.com's guidelines, so the final file THEY produce will be compatible. (ePub, Mobi/Kindle, Nook, etc.). Even more specific, I need the book to adhere to Smashword's strict style requirements so it's included in their "Premium" catalog (thus getting greater exposure).

The Big Question: Why?

So WHY am I writing this book? In a nutshell, because God woke me up in the dead of night two years ago and told me to. I kid you not. He also said to start Mills Creative Minds ( [obscured] ), under which this book is a project. And the driving force behind Mills Creative Minds? To give away money. In fact, 70% of all the proceeds from this book will be given away, with 50% going to ministries & charities and the other 20% used for random acts of kindness.
